Trial Procedures

Trial procedures or general court rules for interaction between all members and participants of the Court during an active case are as follows:

The Media Judge / Referee

..... FOX, SKY... Media Referee ... BBC, CNN .....

When a case is approved for the Case Docket, three Media sources are offered by the Plaintiff to qualify as the collective Judge / Referee panel.  This panel of Judges then oversees the case very much like the operation of the United States Supreme Court.  Of course, these media sources must first accept the challenge, and their choice is highly dependent on the quality and relevance of the case being presented and evaluated by their news staff.  Through the process of the initial cases, the Court will establish a relationship with the Media based upon credible cases that will help in this prequalification process.  With the first cases, patience is requested from the Plaintiffs and Defendants to establish a network of regular participants.

In the Court of Public Justice, as in the traditional courtroom, the panel of Judges will govern the process of questioning the witnesses and the presentation and submission of evidence to qualify all as relevant to the case before the information is released to the Jury.  Once the information presented into evidence is pre-qualified, then the evidence is reported publicly to the jurors through the daily news release of each Referee / Media source.  The Court will supplement this process each week with a news letter to all registered jurors with a polling request for a verdict update which will also be reported to the news desk of the panel of Judges and displayed in the subsequent weekly Court newsletter.  This process will continue until a final verdict is concluded through the natural process of public opinion.

Plaintiff and Defendant:

The Plaintiff and Defendant in each case are expected to cooperate with the news and evidence gathering process within the basic rules of respect and dignity.  Cooperating with any and all media investigators is a part of this process and anyone who refuses to cooperate must accept the responsibility of the weekly verdicts of the Jury and the Referee's news reports based upon the information provided.  It is also preferred that the Plaintiff and Defendant cooperate with each other from the beginning of the case to resolve the conflict within the complaint to the best interests of themselves and the public at large.  As this process is designed to keep the governmental system and services relevant to the people, a special emphasis is placed upon the Plaintiff and Defendant to keep this in mind at all times during the process of finding a common solution.

The Witnesses:

By definition, a witness is in the Court of Public Justice is defined as anyone who presents evidence, either verbal, written or of relevance of any kind in the case.  As mentioned in the Juror Qualification section, if you are a witness you cannot be involved in the Jury and visa versa.  With cases involving government corruption or highly controversial issues that could be embarrassing or potentially dangerous, witnesses may prefer to provide their evidence anonymously to the media through a Court investigator which can provide some insulation under the law for news reporters protected sources.  Traditionally this has been somewhat effective but not always absolute.  Witnesses may come forward at any time during the court process and may be called upon by the panel of Referees, Plaintiff, Defendant, media investigator / reporter or any combination of these case participants.

The Media Investigators:

In the tradition of media investigation, the first rule of evidence is all is fair game.  Unlike the traditional court room, there is no limit to getting at the truth, subject of course to the basic human rules of ethics and respect for the individual.  When it comes to privacy, the gloves are off when human rights are being violated and laws are being broken.  It is up to the panel of Referees and their respective investigators to maintain order and be fair and equal in their treatment of all participants.  The purpose of the media investigator is to bring out the truth and nothing but the truth that is relevant to the case at hand and provide credible news reports to the jurors to affect a just result.

The Jury, We the People:

As a member of the jury on a case filed with the World Wide Web Court of Public Justice, you have become a privileged member of the Human Family / Media partnership.  For the first time in history this formalized system of conscience to the traditional political systems of the world has an organized voice that can and will affect the way our governments represent the Human Family's best interests.  The trial procedures for the jury are quite simple.  Read and study the case filing and be attentive to all evidence and information presented through the Court site, the news media and other resources provided, and offer your objective opinion by faithfully voting once a week until the final verdict is determined and/or the case in concluded.
